1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using Speakrum, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. If local law requires parental permission, you must have it.
2. The service
Speakrum provides English speaking exercises, study plans, vocabulary tools, progress tracking, and connected AI workflows. Features may change as we improve the product. Speakrum is an educational practice tool and does not guarantee a particular exam score, proficiency level, or professional outcome.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for using an email account you control and for activity performed through your authenticated session. Do not share access credentials or attempt to access another learner’s data. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or connection has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Speakrum, interfere with its operation, bypass access controls, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, automate abusive traffic, infringe another person’s rights, or use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful activity. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.
5. Your content and learning data
You retain rights to the content you submit. You grant Speakrum the limited permission needed to host, process, and display that content to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit is lawful and that you have the right to use it.
6. Third-party services
Speakrum relies on third-party infrastructure and may connect with services such as ChatGPT and Codex at your direction. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party products or for interruptions outside our reasonable control.
7. Intellectual property
Speakrum, its branding, software, interface, and original learning materials are owned by Speakrum or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may use the service for personal learning but may not copy, resell, or misrepresent it as your own product.
8. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We work to keep Speakrum accurate and reliable, but do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that every generated suggestion will be error-free. Review AI-generated feedback before relying on it.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speakrum will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunity, or profits resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Ending use
You may stop using Speakrum at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these terms, legal requirements, or a serious risk to the service or other users.
11. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms as the service changes. The revised terms become effective when published unless a later date is stated. These terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
